JTRE was approached by the international clothing brand Desigual to find them space in NYC, Where they can have a retail store on the ground level and host a showroom with offices in the same building. They asked for something “DESIGUAL” (different). As JTRE began its search throughout Manhattan, they unearthed 958 Sixth Avenue a building that was home to a pizza store for over 50+ years. Knowing that this was the ultimate space for Desigual, with the possibility to brand the entire building and be in the face of Macy`s in heart of Herald Square JTRE orchestrated the net lease to Desigual in late 2009. With a successful transaction completed , this location one of the top three locations for Desigual in their chain.
